Lesley Anne Ivory was born in Bedfordshire and attended art schools in that county and in Hertfordshire where she studied textile design and typography. She taught art for several years and gradully began producing commissioned work, the birth of her first son coinciding with the publication of her first greetings card by the charity Oxfam. From this she expanded her output into a diverse range of cards featuring different wildlife and particularly cats. A beautiful gift!
